The Cool Hooves Academy Arena Chukka format is 4 normal x 6.5 minute chukkas with a professional player or instructor on each 3 person team (so only ever 2 junior kids playing on each team).

The level of junior player varies a lot, sometimes we have all 1 goal arena players and other times there are all -1 or -2 arena players involved. The chukkas can be used by competent  junior players who just want to tick over during the winter or are getting fit for a polo holiday. 

They can  also used as preparation chukkas for juniors players who are "too good for Instructional polo" and want to get ready to go into faster club polo. 

The pro/instructors play to keep the ball moving but are also constantly guiding, explaining and instructing the junior players on their play 

The cost of pony hire is £80 per chukka or a £20 chukka fee if someone is playing on their own ponies.
